This high-resolution satellite image, offered by Customaps, captures olive tree plantations on the east side of the village of Badolatosa, Andalusia, a region which is established as an autonomous community of the Kingdom of Spain. Its climate is typical of the Mediterranean with hot dry summers, mild winters, and irregular precipitation. Many areas of Andalusia benefit from over three thousand hours of sunlight over the course of a year.
Approximately 75% of the total olive oil produced in Spain comes from this region and more than 45% of the World's harvested olives come from Spain.
