Sand Waves, Bahamas$69.00 USD
This image of Northern Bahamas, offered by Customaps, was captured by NASA's Landsat 8 satellite on January 20, 2014. It provides a rare opportunity to observe a natural chemical laboratory at work in one of the few places on Earth where limestones of a quite different sort from those forming the Barrier Reef are actually in the process of formation.
Eleuthera Island itself, on the right part of the image, is little more than a sandbar rising just a few meters above sea level, but it separates the deep, dark blue waters of the Atlantic from the 33-feet (10 m) shallows of the Great Bahamas Bank - mosaic patterns of sand waves built by sea bottom currents in the shallows stand out in stark contrast to the deep blue of the ocean depths of a thousand feet in the Exuma Sound (body of water).

- PEEL & STICK WALL MURALS:
Our wall murals are made of a self-adhesive thin polyester fabric material. They have the look and feel of a very thin canvas and do not require use of wallpaper paste or any extra glue for hanging. Our map murals can easily be removed, leaving no trace or sticky residue on 99% of any surface! They can be moved and re-applied over and over again, as the adhesive does not weaken or strengthen over time. Stick your map for a day – or stick it for a decade – still removes with no issues. Our material is green, nontoxic and safe. We protect them with a transparent laminate, which allows you to clean your map with a damp sponge.
Note: it is recommended to apply your wall mural on LOW or NO VOC paints.
