This overview, offered by Customaps, captures wind turbines in a colorful landscape, 2 miles (3.2 km) northwest of the town of Falces, a municipality located in the province of Navarre, an autonomous community in northern Spain. The town is well known for the famous "Encierro del pilon", a running of the bulls even more dangerous than usual as it takes place down the narrow road of a steep hill. Spain is the world's second biggest producer of wind power and since 2010 the country became Europe's leading producer of wind energy. In 2014, the year-end installed capacity was 23 GW and the annual production was 51 GWh, thus representing an electricity consumption share of 21.1%.
