How much does a map wallpaper cost?
Multiply the width by the height of your wall in feet, then by the price of your material. Measuring in inches? Width x height ÷ 144 = square feet.

How it works
- Design your map in our map builder or in advanced mode: pick your area, a style and the dimensions of your wall. Designing is free and needs no account.
- Make it yours: add a title, labels, icons and your logo, upload a KML or GPX file, or choose the DIY style to show zip code and county boundaries. Any special request? Add it in the “Tell us” section.
- Choose your material, then pay at checkout.
- Approve your proof. We send you a proof of your map and revisions are free. We print it in 2-3 business days after your approval, then delivery takes 3-4 business days in the US.

Frequently asked questions
How large can my map wallpaper be?
Every map wallpaper is made to order and custom sized to your dimensions. Since it is printed in panels, we can go as large as you need. The minimum order is 25 sq ft.
Is it hard to install?
No. For prepasted wallpaper, simply spray water on the back to activate the glue. Peel & stick wallpaper goes straight on the wall, with no glue at all, and you can reposition it as you go. Type II commercial vinyl is hung with wallpaper paste, which is not included.
Can I remove it later?
Our Photo Tex peel & stick fabric (polyester) is removable and repositionable, and our peel & stick vinyls are repositionable too. Prepasted wallpaper is removable, but it cannot be reused once taken down.
Will I see my map before it is printed?
Yes. After your order, we send you a proof of your map for review. Revisions are free, and we print only after your approval.
Can I write on my map wallpaper?
Only with our dry erase vinyl, the only finish you can write on with whiteboard markers and wipe clean. Matte lamination protects your map, but you cannot write on it.
Can you help me with the design?
Yes. Our design team can refine your map before printing, for example add more detail or make a city name larger and easier to read. Tell us what you need in the “Tell us” section of the map builder, or write to hello@customaps.com.
What if my wallpaper is damaged during delivery?
Send us a photo of the damage and we will reprint it right away, free of charge.
How long does it take to get my map wallpaper?
Printing usually takes 2 to 3 business days after you approve your proof. Delivery then takes 3 to 4 business days in the US. Other destinations, after printing: Canada 4 to 12 business days, Europe 4 to 10 business days, rest of the world 10 to 20 business days.
I would rather have a poster. Do you print large maps?
Yes. Our large map posters come in 48" x 36" and 72" x 48", on paper, with matte lamination or with dry erase lamination.
