Matte lamination protects the map, but you cannot write on it. Dry erase lamination is the only finish you can write on and wipe clean.

Upload your districts, zones, beats or routes as a KML or GPX file and we place them on the map, including radius circles around your stations. Show zip code and county boundaries with the DIY style. Every address at street level
Zoom in to street level (zoom 15 and closer) and the map shows the footprint of every building with its house number: ideal for response maps, inspections and field crews. Prefer the real view? Our Satellite style shows real satellite imagery, for posters, dry erase maps, wallpaper and digital files.
Murals for public buildings
Give a city hall lobby, a council chamber, a fire station or a hospital waiting room a map of the community it serves, printed to your wall size. Our Type II commercial vinyl, prepasted wallpaper, Photo Tex fabric and Orafol peel & stick vinyls are Class A fire rated. Map wallpaper starts at $7.75 per sq ft.
Quotes and records
Need an approval first? We send a formal quote with materials, sizes and price, and you pay online with a secure link. Every request is handled in writing, so you keep a full record for your file.
How it works
- Send us your area, your boundary files and the poster or wall size, at hello@customaps.com or through our contact form. Prefer to design it yourself? Use our wallpaper and large poster builder or advanced mode.
- Approve your proof. We send you a proof of the map, and revisions are free.
- Printing and delivery: printing takes 2-3 business days after your approval, then delivery takes 3-4 business days in the US.

Can you show our districts or response zones?
Yes. Upload them as KML or GPX in the builder, or email us the file and we add them for you.
Can the map show every address?
Yes. At street level (zoom 15 and closer), the map shows building footprints and house numbers.
Can we write on the map?
Yes, with dry erase lamination and standard whiteboard markers. Matte lamination protects the map but cannot be written on.
Can you send a quote first?

Are your materials fire rated?

How large can the map be?
Posters come in 48" x 36" and 72" x 48". For a larger map, we print wallpaper in panels to any wall size, from 25 sq ft.
Do you install?

What if the map is damaged during delivery?
Send us a photo of the damage and we reprint it right away, free of charge.
How long does it take?
Printing usually takes 2 to 3 business days after you approve your proof. Delivery then takes 3 to 4 business days in the US. Other destinations, after printing: Canada 4 to 12 business days, Europe 4 to 10 business days, rest of the world 10 to 20 business days.
